48hrs in the Valley
As our final event of the year, 48hrs in the Valley this December brought together the top Canadian startups with the Canadian entrepreneurial community in the Silicon Valley for the second time this year. We invited 24 of the best Canadian startups (check out the IT and cleantech lists) to participate in a three day long conference filled with mentorship, workshops and networking. This was the first 48hrs that included cleantech, and the 6 chosen companies brought their A-game to make this first cleantech-48hrs a memorable one. Highlights included a must see reverse pitch session where C100 partners had one minute to pitch to the 48hrs companies, amazing speakers (Arif Janmohamed, Naval Ravikant, Jonathan Erlich, Gary Kovacs, Ron Piovesan, David Lawee, Dan Scheinman, Lynda Ting), and, of course, the C100 Showcase @ Google where the 18 IT companies pitched to sponsors, VCs and members of the tech community in Silicon Valley.
