Recent Funding: Health Wave raised a seed round with Mercury Grove and Ottawa angels. 

Plans: Health Wave will be expanding to the US in September and plans to increase their customer base. 

C100 Connection: When Health Wave was forming early in the year, we met co-founder Kyle Braatz at our office in RocketSpace. He frequently began visiting Silicon Valley during this time in order to get validation on Health Wave. After hard work and within no time, he and the rest of the Health Wave crew joined us for 48hrs in the Valley in June, and made some significant connections. Kyle comments on the value he sees in connecting to the C100: “The C100 welcomed me with open arms and instantly became the fourth member of our team, providing amazing insights, priceless introductions and connected us with amazing advisors.” With the help of some of the tips they gained from workshops and mentoring during 48hrs in the Valley, the Health Wave team continued to move forward in a successful direction, as Kyle explains: “The clarity that 48 hours brought to our company and our team was instrumental in helping us define our path and raise our seed round.
