C100 Connection:  Back in February, eThor CEO Gary Ziegler wrote an awesome guest post on the C100 blog about “Social Proof.” This chronicled his entrepreneurial journey and what has been key to his and eThor’s success: “What made the difference for me, and for my company, was having other successful tech entrepreneurs like members of the C100 and A100 open doors and lend me the social proof I needed to get noticed.“ Gary continues, “Had it not been for those people, I’d still be a two-man team, wondering why no one else sees in eThor what I do?” Last year, Gary Ziegler wowed C100 and A100 members at AccelerateAB in Calgary. He won the AccelerateAB pitch contest, giving eThor three months at a desk at the Plug n Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale. Now, just over a year later, the eThor team has seen a ton of growth and success. Not only did they win the title of “most innovative startup on the planet” at the Global Technology Symposium, but also the “Best E-Commerce Solution” at the Digital Alberta Awards in June, and Gary kicked ass on stage as a speaker at this year’s AccelerateAB in May.
